Congratulations to all of the Cast and Crew of Beauty and The Beast! These were all incredibly difficult decisions and you all did so well in auditions! Please be aware that we will be having an All Cast and Crew Read Thru of the play tomorrow (Friday) in the black box during flex. Please make sure to be there. I can not give an exact end time but it will be somewhere between 530 and 6. We will give an opportunity to call at intermission for those that are arranging rides. Lastly, as with any audition there are a multitude of emotions that everyone will be feeling. Please keep this in mind as you interact with each other tomorrow. I expect that you all will treat everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. We are looking forward to bringing forth a fantastic show this spring!

I want you to know how proud I am of everybody that auditioned these past couple of days. You all should be really proud of yourselves too. We are going to have some callbacks but just know that if you don’t receive a callback that doesn’t mean that we are not considering you for another part. Everyone should still plan on being there for dance auditions as this is still an integral part to the whole audition process.
Callbacks will take place directly after dance auditions. Please be prepared to sing the audition song for the specific character as well as read/perform the script that we will provide for you. The first rehearsal is a dance rehearsal tomorrow from 4pm-9pm. We will have a dinner break from 6pm-7pm. If you need to make arrangements for dinner, please do so (sack lunch, delivery, etc). There will also be a parent meeting at 545 pm in F112 next Tuesday. Tell parents to park in the parking lot off of Harris Rd. Please do your best to relay this information to your parents. There were many difficult decisions to be made. I wish there were more specific roles to be cast in this show because there were so many fantastic auditions! I want to encourage everyone, that if you did not make the show to know that this is just one show. I realize that inevitably there will still be disappointment. Find me during flex and I will be happy to help guide you and give you some feedback to help with future auditions or interviews. If you do find your name below, we will have our first mandatory ALL Cast and Crew meeting next Wednesday at 350 in Room F112. We will go over expectations as well as begin a read thru.
CREW: (If we have school on Tuesday the 18th) Please meet in room F112 for a crew meeting with Mr. Clark from 350 to 5pm. We will go over some of the plans for this show as well as look at how leadership positions will look and what opportunities may still be available. Thursday the 20th: Speaking roles meet with Mr. Clark in room G100 at 350 until 510pm Friday the 21st- If Tuesday is cancelled then I will meet with the crew at 350 on this day. If we have school on Tuesday then everyone will be off to go enjoy spirit week! There will be a parent meeting at 545pm on Tuesday January25th.
