I am incredibly impressed with all of the hard work and effort that I saw throughout this audition process. There were a lot of fantastic auditions! Unfortunately, this also made my job very difficult. Both for the cast and crew there had to be cuts. If you would like advice moving forward on how to improve your audition or application process please don’t hesitate to reach out. I have some tweaks that can help you get right there for the next show. I want to encourage you once again that this is just one show with another show right around the corner in a couple of months.
For those that did make the show, congratulations! We will have an all cast and crew meeting on Tuesday until 530pm. We will try to get through a read through of most of the play on this day as well. Additionally, there will be a parent meeting in room F112 on Wednesday at 530 pm. Parents should park in the parking lot on the south side of the Annex building off of Harris Road. All Cast should plan on rehearsals Tues-Thursday and just Jonas and The Giver on Friday. Congratulations again! The first rehearsal is a dance rehearsal tomorrow from 4pm-9pm. We will have a dinner break from 6pm-7pm. If you need to make arrangements for dinner, please do so (sack lunch, delivery, etc).
